Free travel for women in Haryana buses on Raksha Bandhan day

 In view of the Raksha Bandhan on August 2, 2012, Haryana government has decided to again allow free travel facility to the women, alongwith their children upto the age of 15 years, in ordinary buses of Haryana Roadways in Haryana and upto Delhi and Chandigarh on this day so as to facilitate the women.

 While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that over 11 lakh women and children had availed this facility during last year. The state government has been extending this facility to the women since 2006
